Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Project Controls Specialist 1 to coordinate overall project schedule integration with cost tracking across design through construction. You will work on complex industrial projects and align engineering, procurement and construction schedules to keep work on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include developing draft schedules from RFPs, monitoring progress, analyzing variances, and supporting cost forecasting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of engineering project execution.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables across civil/structural, electrical, process, mechanical and piping.
• Ability to integrate schedules with cost tracking and control.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop draft schedules from RFP information.
• Appraisal of project cost and schedule performance.
• Status, update and report for all project activities.
• Coordinate Subcontractor schedules and costs.
• Monitor progress and report variances.
• Support cost tracking and forecasting.
• Assist with blocked invoices.
