Job summary

Sundt is seeking a Project Controls Integration Analyst to support the Transportation division in North Carolina. The role focuses on ensuring smooth project operations, tracking costs, schedules, and performance indicators using a mix of programming, data visualization, and construction controls expertise.

You will work with tools like lnEight, P6, MS Project, MS Access, and Microsoft Office to improve processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year hands-on experience in construction project controls or cost analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications like Primavera P6 Professional Project Management and Tableau Training are a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with lnEight, P6, MS Project, MS Access, and MS Office programs.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Java, Perl, Raspberry Pi), web development (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, React.js), database technologies (MySQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Cost verification with project teams to ensure accurate quantities and costs.
  • Develop and maintain databases for tracking construction projects and data entry integration.
  • Review monthly billing and payments data for accuracy across reports.
  • Identify process improvements to boost project efficiency.
  • Create EAC reports and other evaluations using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Assist in building and updating schedules, ensuring cost-loading and ERP coordination.
  • Provide technical support for lnEight, P6, MS Project, MS Access, and MS Office.

Job Summary

The Project Controls Integration Analyst will support the Transportation division by ensuring the smooth flow of project operations, tracking costs, schedules, and performance indicators. This role requires a mix of technical skills in programming, data visualization, and construction project controls to contribute to the overall success of projects across four regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1.Cost Verification: Collaborate with project teams to verify the accuracy and completeness of quantities, takeoffs and project costs.
  • 2.Data Management: Develop and maintain databases for tracking ongoing construction projects and interface within databases for data entry purposes.
  • 3.Financial Transactions Review: Review monthly billing and payments data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reports.
  • 4.Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project efficiency.
  • 5.Reporting: Create reports on Estimate at Completion (EAC) and other project evaluations using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power Bl.
  • 6.Schedule Support: Assist in building and updating schedules as needed, ensuring they are properly cost-loaded and coordinated with lnEight and the ERP system.
  • 7.Technical Support: Provide technical assistance in using tools like lnEight, P6, MS Project, MS Access, and all MS Office programs.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • 1.1+ year of hands-on experience in construction project controls or cost analysis.
  • 2.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3.Certifications such as Primavera P6 Professional Project Management, Tableau Essential Training, and Data Visualization: Storytelling are a plus but not required.
  • 4.Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • 5.Experience with lnEight, P6, MS Project, MS Access, and all MS Office programs.
  • 6.Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Java, Perl, Raspberry Pi), web development (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, react.js), database technologies (MySQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SOL), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power Bl), and Al applications.
