Job summary

Shermco Industries in Irving, Texas, is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support high-risk projects with financial, schedule, change and performance analysis. You will work with project leaders, Operations and Finance to maintain controls, improve forecasting and protect margins while reducing administrative burden and ensuring delivery accountability.

You will collaborate across project teams, develop dashboards and reports, and help standardize PMO processes to enable timely

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Two+ years of experience in project controls, financial analysis, cost accounting or similar analytical role.
Experience in industrial services, construction, utilities, electrical services or EPC environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain project financial controls by reconciling baseline, actual and committed costs, ETC, EAC, revenue, billing, forecast margin and variances.
Analyze cost trends (labor, material, subcontractors, travel) and communicate drivers of performance.
Maintain change-order and risk logs; track projected risks and exposures.
