Job summary

The GBS Group is seeking a Jr. Project Controls Analyst to support our Federal Division. You will assist with project setups, budgeting, forecasting, and financial administration in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, updating forecasts, preparing proposals, invoicing, and ensuring accuracy from award to closeout using Business Central. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required, with 0–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent required.
• 0 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with budgets and financial transparency on a routine basis.
• Update financial forecasting models and reconcile to ensure profitability and accurate revenue recognition.
• Develop and audit cost and price proposals for solicitations and quotes.
• Assist with invoice preparation and accounts receivable follow-ups.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Financials in Business Central, overseeing project setup and expense reports.
• Support other administrative and financial functions as required.
