Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Project Controls professional to support budgeting, forecasts and cost reporting on engineering projects in the Modesto area. You will collaborate with project managers, prepare invoices, track milestones and maintain data integrity for financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Business or technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in a project engineering or services environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/project management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and management.
• Travel 25-30%.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers to monitor project budgets, forecasts, and actual costs.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate project planning and reporting.
• Interact with customers and vendor personnel to assure project progress to meet customer requirements.
• Track project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and associated costs.
• Prepare invoices, verify details for accuracy, and deliver to the customer.
• Identify and flag variances in project budgets and schedules.
• Support risk and opportunity analysis related to project financials.
• Follow and coordinate established or informal SOPs for Mission Critical team.
• Support development of project estimates to verify accuracy and maintain data integrity.
• Be an ambassador who embodies Core Values and supports associates' development.
