Brose Sitech is expanding its finance organisation for the US market from Michigan, offering a pivotal role in shaping the profitability of key customer programs. You will own financial transparency, develop business cases, monitor costs and pricing, and act as a commercial partner across functions to support production readiness through 2028.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in project controlling or related finance roles.
• Experience in manufacturing/automotive environment.
• Strong cost modeling, budgeting and variance analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Own financial transparency for assigned programs including revenue, costs, tooling, R&D, CapEx, margin and lifecycle profitability.
• Prepare project business cases, RFQ calculations and profitability models.
• Maintain BOM-based cost models, cost simulations and commercial pricing assumptions.
• Support OEM negotiations with cost-breakdown packages and scenario analyses.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, actuals, commitments and risks/opportunities.
• Act as commercial sparring partner for PM, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Finance.
• Ensure data consistency in SAP / ERP and controlling systems.

Following the acquisition of a major contract, we are preparing to expand into the US market. Your Tasks

• Own financial transparency for assigned customer programs, including revenue, material cost, tooling, R&D, CapEx, margin and lifecycle profitability
• Prepare and maintain project business cases, RFQ calculations, acquisition calculations and profitability models
• Maintain BOM-based cost models, cost simulations and commercial assumptions used for customer pricing
• Support OEM customer negotiations with cost‑breakdown packages, financial arguments and scenario analyses
• Evaluate financial impact of engineering changes, customer change requests, volume changes, scope changes and timing changes
• Track project budgets, forecasts, actuals, commitments and risks/opportunities
• Act as commercial sparring partner for Program Management, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Operations and Finance
• Ensure consistency of project data in SAP / ERP and controlling systems

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project controlling, program controlling, commercial controlling, finance or management accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial or engineering‑driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of business cases, RFQs, product costing, BOM cost logic, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and SAP / ERP experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
