Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, financial analysis, or project accounting experience, preferably within construction, electrical contracting, or a project-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and project financial management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and project management platforms with integrated job-costing functionality.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with operations and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and profitability analysis.
• Own WIP reporting, revenue recognition, monthly close support, and project cash flow forecasting.
• Partner with project managers to develop budgets, validate estimates, and drive informed financial decision-making.
• Monitor project performance, identify cost overruns and margin risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level dashboards to leadership.
• Improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and ERP utilization while supporting integration efforts tied to company growth and acquisitions
