Randstad USA is seeking a Project Control Specialist for a long-term contract in Marshalltown, Iowa. You will manage cost, risk, and scheduling using Primavera P6 and EVMS against large industrial construction milestones.

Responsibilities

• Identify cost/schedule risks and advise on mitigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with accounting, finance, vendors, and contractors to align cost data.

Job Summary

Seeking a Project Control Specialist with a hands-on Primavera P6 scheduling and Earned Value Analysis experience on large industrial construction project. You will manage cost, risk, & scheduling from development to close-out for a long-term contract. This position pays per diem. location: Marshalltown, Iowa job type: Contract salary: $76 - 83 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead subject matter expert on project controls for large-scale energy builds, ensuring strict compliance with commercial and contractual terms.
• Develop and maintain detailed project estimates, ongoing cost forecasts, cash flow updates, and monthly accruals while reviewing change orders and quantity takeoffs.
• Conduct in-depth schedule reviews and EVMS analysis in Primavera P6 to monitor contractual milestones and validate work progress from development to close-out.
• Identify early cost and schedule performance risks, advising project leadership on actionable mitigation strategies and corrective action plans.
• Interface closely with corporate accounting, finance, vendors, and contractors to align cost data, evaluate entitlements, and resolve execution challenges.
