Job description

For 50 years, the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) has been more than an energy office—we’re a mission‑driven team delivering innovative energy solutions across the state.

We’re modernizing critical Railbelt transmission infrastructure to enhance reliability for 75 percent of Alaskans. At the same time, we’re advancing renewable energy projects that help stabilize energy costs, reduce reliance on diesel, and support more sustainable solutions for communities statewide.

In rural Alaska, we continue to invest in energy systems—upgrading powerhouses and bulk fuel facilities when funding allows and extending the life of existing infrastructure through targeted maintenance and improvement projects that bring greater stability and equity to even the most remote communities.

We’re looking for talented, motivated professionals who thrive in a collaborative, solution‑oriented environment. If you’re passionate about making a difference in Alaska’s energy future, explore our current opportunities below.

Our Project Control/Compliance Officer position is performed under the direction of the CIPLink Program Manager and will work with the Project and Accounting teams throughout the project lifecycle. This position will establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project control tracking mechanisms. The individual will need to be able to identify potential problems related to scope, schedule, and budget of the project. The position is expected to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively. We're looking for someone who has a Bachelors’ Degree and/or equivalent experience.
