Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager I to own the project quality control program, maintain the inspection and test plan, schedule tests, and write the daily QC report.

You will open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and the engineer of record, keep submittal and certification files audit-ready, and mentor field staff toward a higher QC seat.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or QC on a project.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for test scheduling.
• Direct, organized, and able to communicate with a superintendent about nonconformance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and three-phase meeting records; open/track NCRs.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
