Job summary

SoTx Facility Services, LLC seeks an experienced facilities project manager to lead Navy-related projects in San Diego. You will oversee project and construction management, quality assurance, and general oversight, ensuring safety, schedule, and contractual compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating work, reporting progress, attending client meetings, and conducting site visits to verify workmanship and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of construction or engineering experience.
• Minimum of 8 years supporting Navy facilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 security investigation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of facility construction, quality assurance, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Project Management Support: assist with work scheduling, production control, progress reviews, submittal reviews, and coordination; provide weekly status reports and attend client meetings.
• Construction Management Support: monitor and inspect ongoing projects to ensure contract, health and safety compliance; conduct daily inspections and report findings.
• Quality Assurance and Project Oversight Support: review and inspect projects for milestones and deliverables; prepare weekly QA and oversight reports; assist with turnover and closeout.

Candidate will provide facility-related project management, construction management, quality assurance and general project oversight services for facilities management department. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Candidate will provide facility-related project management, construction management, quality assurance and general project oversight services for facilities management department. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Project Management Support: The candidate will assist with work scheduling, production control, progress reviews, submittal reviews, and coordination activities of ongoing Minor and Major Projects. Will provide weekly status reports of ongoing projects and provide written and verbal reports. The Candidate will attend meetings at the Government’s request. Site visits will be required.

Construction Management Support: Will assist with the monitoring, inspection, and documentation of ongoing Minor and Major Projects. The candidate will monitor and inspect ongoing Minor and Major Projects to assure compliance with the contract requirements and all health and safety requirements. Will conduct daily inspections of active Minor and Major Infection Control Containments that will include compliance with the Inspection Control requirements and the client’s Work Permit Program. Inspection Reports will be provided no more than 48 hours after inspection and be detailed and complete. Any Life Safety findings will be reported to immediately. The candidate will attend meetings as requested. Site visits will be required.

Quality Assurance and Project Oversight Support: The candidate will review and inspection Minor and Major Projects to ensure that all project milestones and deliverables are in accordance with contract requirements. Project oversight services will focus on coordination/communication of start times and end times of the crew(s), detailed work plans, constructability, phasing, infection control, safety/life safety, and quality of work. Will assist with obtaining base access for all project candidates. The candidate will assist with project turnover and closeout processes. Will provide weekly quality assurance and project oversight reports of ongoing projects. The candidate will attend meetings at the client’s request. Site visits will be required.
