Apex Companies is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Somerset or Greensburg, PA team. You will work on land development, geotechnical, and municipal/residual waste projects, collaborating with experienced professionals in a mentorship-driven environment.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree; EIT preferred; PADEP permitting experience; proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; strong writing and communication skills. We offer annual bonus opportunities and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required or equivalent.
• EIT preferred with potential for professional licensure.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience in land development or geotechnical projects.
• Experience with PADEP permitting processes is a plus.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform conceptual and detailed civil design for site layout, grading, stormwater, erosion control, and utilities.
• Support geotechnical investigations and interpretation of subsurface data.
• Prepare geotechnical reports and design considerations for foundations and earthwork.
• Support permitting for municipal and residual waste facilities.
• Prepare plans, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and reports.
• Coordinate scheduling, budgeting, and task execution.
• Maintain project docs and progress reporting in internal systems.
• Participate in client, contractor, and regulatory meetings and follow up on actions.
