Sika is seeking an experienced Project Chemist to join our Madison Heights, MI team. You will lead product maintenance, conduct in-depth chemical reviews, and present results to our customers, with TS Audit responsibility.
You will collaborate across functions, manage projects from ideation to implementation, and contribute to development of new materials and processes, while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Sika is looking for an experienced Project Chemist to join our growing team in Madison Heights, MI.
At Sika, the Project Chemist will:
-Minimum of 5 years of R&D experience in product formulation, ideally involving polymer compositions for automotive or industrial applications
-Proven track record of successfully leading development projects from ideation through market introduction
-Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams (e.g., EHS, Operations, Sales/Marketing) to oversee progress and ensure successful outcomes
-Highly motivated, self-driven individual who takes responsibility and ownership for assigned tasks and projects
-Curiosity and courage to challenge the status quo and push technical boundaries in support of Sika’s innovation culture
-Excellent communication skills and an open mindset that fosters a respectful, collaborative, and enjoyable work environment
