Mortenson is seeking a Project Buyer II to join our Power Team. You will collaborate with project teams and suppliers to purchase materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, at least four years of purchasing experience in construction or similar environments, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a commitment to safe and compliant procurement practices.

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Project Buyer II to join our Power Team that will be responsible for working with project teams and suppliers to purchase materials, supplies, equipment and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers: solicit bids, analyze quotations, interview prospective suppliers, and select suppliers along with evaluating supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery time

The base pay range for this role is $76,200 - $114,300. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%)

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
