Mortenson is seeking a Project Buyer I or II to collaborate with project teams and suppliers, purchasing materials, supplies, equipment and services. Compensation is determined by experience and location, with separate baselines for Buyer I and II.

The role includes building supplier relationships, developing purchasing strategies, and maintaining procurement logs, with travel to project sites as needed to streamline processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
• Current driver’s license
• Knowledge of construction processes, equipment and materials, purchasing processes and procedures

Project Buyer I or II – Energy Storage

Mortenson is currently seeking a Project Buyer I or II that will be responsible for working with project teams and suppliers to purchase materials, supplies, equipment and services.

This position offers opportunities at both levels I and II, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location.

Responsibilities

• The base pay range for this role is $68,700 - $92,800

Project Buyer II

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• The base pay range for this role is $76,200 - $114,300

(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
