Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in New Albany, OH is seeking a Project Billing Specialist to provide professional financial and economic support reporting to the Billing Supervisor. The role handles contractual invoicing for Project Cardinal and ensures adherence to Bechtel policies and contractual requirements.

Coordinate with the Billing Organization, Project Management, and other finance teams to ensure timely invoicing, proper cost categorization, and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Billing roles.
• Understanding of accounting principles, concepts and terminology
• Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must have the legal right to work in US without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of the financial requirements of the prime contract.
• Ongoing review of unbilled cost transactions, unit rate transactions and account reconciliations to ensure that all costs are billed timely, that any held items are addressed promptly, and that all transactions are properly categorized per the contract billing terms.
• Coordination with the Service Center Billing Organization to ensure quality and timely client billing delivery.
• Coordination with Project Management, Project Controls and other project organizations impacting the Billing process.
• Coordination with other Project Finance Team members, especially related to billing of Supplier and Subcontract invoices to the client.
• Implementation and ongoing improvement of billing controls and processes, ensuring compliance and meeting deadlines.
• Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.
