Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management or business administration.
• 0–2 years' accounting experience focusing on billing and contract provisions.
• Deltek Vantagepoint experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook; able to meet monthly billing deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoice submissions for government and private clients with documentation.
• Maintain complete project folders with related documents.
• Enter budget changes and variances in the reporting system.
• Coordinate billing procedures with branch offices.
• Respond to client requests for reports or back-up documentation.
• Communicate project financial status with project managers.
• Examine unbilled costs and unpaid invoices monthly to maximize billing.
• Review sub-consultant invoices for contract compliance and budgets.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by project and company needs.
• Articulate project issues to accounting and non-accounting staff.
