Job summary

Summit Public Schools seeks a Math Teacher in a candidate pool for Washington state. The role centers on project-based learning, mentor-based guidance, and data-informed instruction within Summit’s deep learning model.

You will engage students through advisory groups, project time, and interventions while upholding Summit’s commitment to DEIB, equity, and continuous improvement across a network of small, community-focused campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Teaching Credential in Washington or another US state.
• Clear health and background check.
• Teaching experience in your subject is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school or middle school project time blocks with deep learning experiences.
• Lead mentor groups daily and support students’ personal goals.
• Analyze student progress data to inform lesson planning and supports.
• Facilitate collaboration and professional development within the faculty.
• Contribute to Summit’s equitable, heterogeneous learning environment.
