Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join a top energy company in Houston, TX, supporting the engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple hyperscale, mission-critical data centers across the United States. This role will lead all project controls activities, including planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and performance reporting across large-scale data center projects. The Project Controls Manager will establish and maintain integrated cost and schedule baselines, ensure project performance metrics accurately reflect project status, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and corrective actions. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Client teams to maintain cost and schedule discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in project controls supporting large-scale industrial, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects, LNG
• Strong background in cost control, forecasting, planning/scheduling, and earned value management (EVM)
• Proven experience developing project performance reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level project controls reporting
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project controls teams
• Experience supporting large-scale construction portfolios exceeding $300M+ in project value
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or a related discipline or High School Diploma
• 6+ years of experience in the field
• EPC, LNG or mission critical industry and project backgroundPrevious experience delivering Data Center or mission-critical facility projectsProfessional certifications such as AACE CCP, PSP, or PMI-SPAdvanced experience with Primavera P6Strong proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and project controls reporting toolsExperience managing project change controls, risk assessments, and contingency planning processesFamiliarity working within EPC or large-scale industrial construction environments
