Job summary

LaBella Associates in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Project Architect to support our Essential Facilities and Municipal Design Studio within the Architectural division. You will collaborate with large project teams, coordinate with subconsultants, and assist the Project Manager with client meetings, design reviews and construction administration.

The ideal candidate will lead with strong communication, organization and collaboration, with a background in public works or essential facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect in NY (desirable but not required).
• 8+ years of work experience under a licensed architect.
• Experience designing Essential Facilities/public works projects preferred.
• Knowledge of New York State building codes.
• Strong technical design, specification writing and construction document skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Revit BIM Modeling experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
