Fancy Parsley Architecture + Design in Scranton, PA seeks a licensed architect to join our growing boutique studio. The candidate will lead projects from concept through construction and mentor younger staff.

We focus on residential, commercial, hospitality, and adaptive reuse work across Pennsylvania. You will collaborate with clients, coordinate consultants, and actively contribute to design decisions and project success.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• 5+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/Revit for documentation and permitting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience coordinating consultant teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Passion for thoughtful design and client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from Schematic Design to Construction Documentation.
• Develop thoughtful design solutions balancing creativity with constructability.
• Coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and specialty consultants.
• Prepare and oversee CAD/Revit documentation for permitting and construction.
• Meet with clients to present concepts and guide design process.
• Coordinate municipal reviews and permitting.
• Provide construction administration as required.
• Collaborate closely with the design team and mentor emerging professionals.
