Job summary

SmithGroup in Phoenix seeks a Project Architect - Interiors to lead the CCC Interior Design Studio in technical development, documentation for approvals, and construction administration on multiple interior projects.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in architecture, a Bachelor's degree, and LEED AP preferred; Architectural Registration is required. Proficiency with Revit and SketchUp, plus strong client relations and mentoring skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
• LEED AP preferred; Architectural Registration required.
• Ability to engage with multi-disciplinary professionals.
• Strong client communication and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CCC Interior Design Studio in technical development and oversight.
• Prepare, coordinate, and complete construction documents with life-safety focus.
• Lead construction administration activities and coordinate with contractors.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff; manage staffing and work plans.
• Develop client relationships and participate in staff recruitment.
