Job summary

Collaborative Design Group, Inc. in Minneapolis is seeking a Project Architect to join our multidisciplinary design practice.

You will work with clients to develop and manage projects, lead project teams from design charrettes to completion, and contribute to design and sustainability concepts. The ideal candidate is a Registered Architect with strong communication and documentation skills, proficient in Revit with AutoCAD a plus, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with demonstrated design excellence across varied project types.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Sound detailing and construction documentation abilities.
• Project and team management experience.
• High proficiency with Revit; AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Intellectually curious and able to handle a wide variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with clients to develop and manage projects.
• Project team participation from design charrettes through project completion.
• Developing and presenting design and sustainability concepts.
• Building codes, accessibility, life safety, and zoning.
• Consultant coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Construction detailing, specifications, and contract administration.
• Involvement in business development.
• Be adaptable and able to manage priorities.
