Job summary

R2R studio in Knoxville seeks a Project Architect/Design Professional to join our nine-person firm. You will lead design efforts, manage small projects, and collaborate with our team to deliver creative, practical solutions.

The role focuses on Hospitality, Commercial Retail and Office, and residential projects, from client meetings through construction administration. Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, Enscape or SketchUp is preferred, along with licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
• Minimum of 6 years of architectural experience.
• Strong communication & organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Hospitality/Residential design experience preferred.
• Enscape, SketchUp or other rendering software experience.
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
• Ability to sketch digitally and by hand.
• Professional licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing small-scale projects through all phases from initial client meetings through construction administration.
• Coordination with the internal office team on daily tasks for 1-3 projects.
• Producing accurate construction documents and providing quality control.
• Preparing for and leading client presentations.
• Collaborating with other teams on large-scale projects.
• Providing a high level of client service and team support through great design.

Our projects are unique to each concept and client that enters our office, and we pride ourselves in offering a holistic design approach to each project we work on. We are a small firm of driven problem solvers, always striving for powerful aesthetics on a wide range of building scopes.

As part of our team, you will have opportunities to engage in a variety of project types ranging from custom homes to new restaurant franchises. Our work generally focuses on smaller to mid-size Hospitality, Commercial Retail and Office, and Single and Multi-Family Residential project types.

Job Requirements:
