Job summary

Jobot in Raleigh is seeking an Architectural Designer / Project Architect to contribute to a diverse portfolio of commercial and institutional projects. The role emphasizes design development, technical documentation, and collaboration with principals, designers, and consultants.

You will work on DD and Construction Documents using Revit and SketchUp, ensure code compliance, coordinate with engineers, and help select building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Approximately 3–5 years of practical architectural experience.
• Experience on commercial or non-residential projects is required.
• Strong design skills balancing aesthetics and functionality.
• Experience producing Design Development and Construction Documents.
• Proficiency with Revit and SketchUp.
• Working knowledge of building codes and documentation.
• Experience coordinating with engineering and consultants.
• Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills.
• Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and development of commercial/institutional projects.
• Collaborate with principals, project architects, designers and consultants.
• Develop and coordinate design concepts to meet client needs.
• Produce and coordinate Design Development and Construction Documents.
• Develop architectural drawings, plans, and documentation in Revit and other tools.
• Coordinate work with structural, MEP, civil and other consultants.
• Apply building codes and standards throughout development.
• Assist with material selections and constructability considerations.
• Participate in design reviews and project coordination meetings.
• Support projects through multiple design phases.
