Job description

ARMOUR ARCHITECTURE

seeks candidates for Project Architect to lead design and delivery of high-end custom residential projects under the direction of senior staff. Located in our inspiring, light-filled studio in San Francisco's Lower Haight neighborhood.

OUR TEAM

We're a well-established custom residential firm known for creating homes rooted in traditional architecture that thoughtfully support modern living. Maintaining an intentionally small studio, we take on select projects with clients whose vision matches ours. We view them as partners and challenge ourselves to design homes that genuinely enhance the way they live.

OUR WORK

At Armour Architecture, you'll have the opportunity to deliver exceptional residential projects from concept through completion while working alongside a talented, collaborative team. Based in our renovated 1920s studio in San Francisco's Lower Haight, we combine time honored design principles with a thoughtful, client-centered approach to creating homes that are both beautiful and deeply functional.

OUR PORTFOLIO

spans San Francisco, Marin, Wine Country, the South Bay, and Hawaii, including a number of historically significant residences. Our reputation for rigor, craftsmanship, and attention to detail has made us a trusted collaborator of leading builders, interior designers, and long-standing clients. We're passionate about our work, committed to excellence, and proud of the homes we create together.

ROLE OF PROJECT ARCHITECT

You'll lead the design and delivery of residential work, including directing project staff. The qualified candidate will amplify the principal's design vision; demonstrate zeal and acumen for the language of high-end architecture; communicate with polish and confidence; delegate and instruct succinctly and positively; and have a solid work ethic based on commitment, organization, clear communication, and acute attention to detail.
