Job summary

Rios Williams Architects, PC in the Pittsburgh area seeks an experienced Project Architect / Architectural Designer to independently develop projects from design through construction. The candidate will coordinate consultants and manage multiple projects with limited oversight.

Strong Revit proficiency, renovation/existing-building experience, and the ability to lead construction administration are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong Revit proficiency with BIM modeling and construction docs.
• Experience with renovation and existing-building projects.
• Experience through SD, DD, CDs, permitting, bidding, and Construction Administration.
• Strong understanding of IBC, accessibility/ADA, and life-safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.
• Ability to manage assigned project responsibilities and multiple projects with limited oversight.
• Comfortable participating in client, consultant, and contractor meetings.
• Construction Administration experience including submittals, RFIs, site observations, field reports, punch lists, and closeout.

Rios Williams Architects (RWA) is seeking an experienced Project Architect / Architectural Designer to join our Pittsburgh-area practice. We are looking for a strong technical architect or designer who can independently develop projects, coordinate consultants, and help move projects from design through construction.

Qualifications & Experience

• 6–9 years of professional architectural experience with an architecture or A/E firm.
• Strong Revit proficiency, with the ability to independently develop BIM models and produce coordinated construction documents.
• Experience with renovation and existing-building projects.
• Experience through SD, DD, Construction Documents, permitting, bidding, and Construction Administration.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, IBC, accessibility/ADA, and life-safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.
• Ability to manage assigned project responsibilities and multiple projects with limited day-to-day oversight.
• Comfortable participating in client, consultant, and contractor meetings.
• Construction Administration experience, including submittals, RFIs, site observations, field reports, punch lists, and closeout.
