Stuart Basseches Architect is a small, design-focused residential architecture firm based in Sag Harbor on the East End of Long Island. Our work includes high-end custom homes throughout the Hamptons and upstate New York, as well as art galleries in New York City.

We are looking for an architect or experienced architectural designer with5–10 years of professional experiencewho enjoys thoughtful residential design and wants to take on meaningful responsibility.

You’ll work directly with the principal on projects from concept through construction, including design, client meetings, consultant coordination, permitting, construction documents, and construction administration. The right candidate should be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely as part of a small office.

Qualifications

• Strong residential design and detailing skills
• Experience preparing construction documents
• Ability to coordinate consultants and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Professional degree in architecture
• Experience with Vectorworks is preferred. Familiarity with Revit and Lumion is a plus.
