Job summary

Graham Baba Architects in Seattle, WA is seeking an architectural staff member with 5–10 years of experience to join our design-forward team. You will work on a diverse mix of projects, from 500 sf kiosks to 50 acre master plans, developing concepts, drawings, and presentations.

Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite is required; AutoCAD familiarity is a bonus. Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $88,000 plus generous benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute design concepts and develop concepts into practical solutions
  • Prepare drawings, models (physical and virtual), diagrams, and presentations
  • Contribute to code research, zoning analysis, and regulatory coordination
  • Lead small project teams and collaborate with team members and consultants
  • Provide project construction administration documentation, meetings and coordination with supervision
  • Take initiative in problem-solving and ownership of your work
  • Assist with content for business development and marketing pursuits
  • Juggle multiple roles and project types while staying organized and detailed
  • Contribute to and participate in the office culture with a positive attitude

We’re looking for an architectural staff member with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. This position is an opportunity for a motivated, creative person to work on a diverse mix of projects, ranging from 500 sf coffee kiosks to 50 acre master plans, with GBA’s design-first and human-centered values. What We Need You To Do

Who You Are
  • A detail-oriented generalist who believes that good design is critical to all projects.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Architecture, working collaboratively on teams and leading/managing projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, with the ability to clearly express ideas across different formats.
  • Reliable, organized, and committed to following through on responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Curious and willing to explore a range of ideas, approaches, and design solutions.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across a variety of project types, scales, and tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on producing accurate and thoughtfully considered work.
  • Collaborative by nature, with experience working effectively with project teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Motivated to continually develop skills, expand knowledge, and grow professionally.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam and Adobe Suite; familiarity with AutoCAD is a bonus.

Base salary range is $75,000 – $88,000 with a generous benefits package. Final salary decisions are determined by local market, a candidate’s skillset, years of experience, and internal equity.
