Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed Architect in Seattle to produce construction documents and lead architectural teams through schematic design, design development, and construction administration phases.

The role emphasizes budget and schedule adherence, coordination with government and utility entities, and mentorship of junior staff within a dynamic design practice in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Architect in your state of residence.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience preferred.
• Proficiency in using Revit.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality construction documents according to PBK standards.
• Participate in Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration phases.
• Direct and coordinate production of construction documents and specifications.
• Organize and direct architectural and/or engineering teams.
• Ensure projects meet client budget goals and schedules.
• Coordinate with government agencies and utility companies.
• Resolve plan check and approval issues.
• Ensure compliance with building codes.
• Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff.
• Oversee junior staff assignments.
• Support the Project Manager, Production Director, and/or Client Executive in supervising project staff.
• Establish budgets, task schedules, and work-plan components with the Project Manager.
• Work with the Project Manager to establish project budgets and schedules.
• Report to the Project Manager and oversee the performance of the production team
