Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced architect to lead building design and documentation, collaborating with clients and project teams to create detailed plans and 3D renderings using Revit.

The role focuses on producing architectural plans aligned with client requirements, budgets, and regulatory constraints, while ensuring accurate documentation and permitting readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (required).
• Proficient knowledge of Revit software.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-contract design in collaboration with the principal and estimator.
• Review design requirements and constraints and determine design options for building projects.
• Create building designs and highly detailed drawings using Revit.
• Create 3D renderings for field staff and clients.
• Create architectural plans according to client requirements, budget, and preferences.
• Provide drawings to the principal, project managers, and lead carpenters.
• Modify and update designs based on review comments from project development team members and agencies.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and architects.
• Prepare design documents for permitting.

• Work within town planning legislation, environmental impact, and project budget constraints


• Coordinate with structural engineers and architects


• Ensure proper documentation and records of structural design information


• Prepare design documents for permitting


• Maintain architectural design records and drawings storage


• Write specifications as required


• Adapt plans to resolve problems during construction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture


• In-depth knowledge of Revit software is essential


• Creative design skills


• Communication skills and ability to interact with clients, engineers, and team members
