Job summary

No More Boring in New York, NY seeks an experienced architect to develop high-end architectural details and construction documents. The role requires mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and Office tools, plus strong communication and collaboration across teams to deliver premium results for clients.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Architecture, have 5–10 years of site-based experience, and be prepared to leverage Rhino/Grasshopper for advanced design work, potentially pursuing LEED BD+C

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience on projects.
• Experience with Ontario Building Code knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural presentation documents (renderings, boards, booklets, etc).
• Understand and apply Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Engage in Rhino/Grasshopper based parametric design work.
• Pursue LEED BD+C accreditation where applicable.

Job description

Applicants must have first-hand experience in preparing details, specifications, and construction documents. Strong working knowledge of current versions of AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Microsoft Office Suite are essential. Must have prior experience working on active construction sites on a multitude of project types. Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office is mandatory. A Master’s degree in Architecture is required from an accredited school that will allow for Intern status with the Ontario Association of Architects. Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be self-driven, and must have an interest in working collaboratively to produce high end results for our clients.
