Job summary

Actalent in Chicago, IL is seeking a Project Architect to lead and contribute across a range of architectural projects from concept through construction.

You will develop Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents for retail and multi-family residential, industrial, commercial, and workplace environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Accredited architecture degree required.
• Licensed or on track to licensure.
• Minimum 6 years of architectural experience.
• Proficient in Revit; AutoCAD; Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience on retail or multi-family residential projects.
• Knowledge of ground-up construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design from schematic through construction documents.
• Coordinate across multiple project types and teams.
• Support bidding, permitting, and code/zoning reviews.
• Participate in construction administration.

An Architecture firm in Chicago is looking to add a Project Architect to their team!

Job Description

This role offers an experienced project architect the opportunity to lead and contribute to a wide range of architectural projects from early concept through construction completion. You will prepare Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents while working across multiple project types, including retail, multi-family residential, industrial, commercial, and workplace environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Assist with programming, code/zoning, entitlement issues, and site plans
• Manage bidding and permitting processes
• Participate in construction administration

Qualifications:

• Accredited Degree in Architecture
• Licensed or on track to licensure
• 6+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Revit (must have), AutoCAD, Abode Creative Suite
• Experience working on retail or multi-family residential projects
• Knowledge of ground-up construction projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
