Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Architect (or Project Captain, if unlicensed) to join our established Minneapolis office. This permanent/direct-hire role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN.

You will lead design development from inception through all project phases, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure quality tied to scope, budget, and schedule. A strong portfolio and 5–10+ years’ experience are expected, with Revit and BlueBeam proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture Degree from an accredited program; professional architecture degree a plus
• Proficiency in Revit and BlueBeam is required
• 5-10+ years of professional experience in an architecture firm
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Strong communication and client interfacing skills
• Portfolio including Industrial, Warehouse, Corporate, or other Commercial projects
• Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective
• Effective teamwork across multiple team members

Responsibilities

• Work with a team from project inception through all phases of the project
• Prepare design drawings, models, and/or specifications as directed by senior staff
• Research and implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning, and building codes
• Integrate architectural design with structural, mechanical and electrical systems
• Prepare architectural detailing for project documents
• Participate in technical discussions with contractor, consultants, project teams, and clients
• Coordinate the team and project through construction phase
• Work closely with the Project Manager and team to coordinate work across internal and external teams
• Deliver overall quality consistent with scope, budget and project goals
• Actively build new and future relationships

Job Responsibilities

• Delivering overall quality consistent with scope, budget and project goals
• Actively building new and future relationships

Qualifications

• Ability to both multi-task and be organized
• A practiced communicator and presenter, able to articulate ideas
• Strong client interface skills
• A diverse portfolio including Industrial, Warehouse, Corporate, or other Commercial project experience
• Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective
• Effective team experience working with multiple team members

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
