Architecture Social in Dallas seeks a Project Architect for its data centres studio. You will own coordination of architectural and consultant documents, drive detailing, QA/QC, and mentor staff on the studio floor while presenting practical technical solutions that work in real-world construction.
Candidates should have 5+ years in commercial work, be proficient in Revit, and possess US work authorization.
Want to build the places that power everything else?
A major Dallas-headquartered, employee-owned US architecture practice is hiring a Project Architect into its data centres studio. You join a team that has been designing critical facilities for decades, sitting at the sharp end of one of the fastest-moving markets in the industry. Hyperscale campuses, colo programmes, enterprise work. Reliability, redundancy and speed to market are the brief. You will feel the pace from week one.
You won’t be a passenger. You’ll own coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents, drive detailing and QA/QC, help run schedules and fees, mentor people on the studio floor, and present technical solutions that have to work in the real world. Design and procurement move together here. Early release packages are normal. Construction often starts while the set is still advancing. If you like solving hard problems with engineers, contractors and owners who will be back on the next campus with you, this is your lane.
Curious people who want more responsibility, not less. Architects with 5+ years in commercial work who have already led teams on large projects, can take a drawing set from concept through CD and CA, and care about how things get built. Revit fluency matters. Registration (or getting there) matters. Mission-critical experience is a bonus; appetite to specialise hard is enough if the technical mindset is there. US work authorisation required. No visa sponsorship on this role. Portfolio with your CV.
You become an owner, not just an employee. Stock in the firm at no cost to you, growing with tenure. Real support for registration and exams. Mentorship that isn’t theatre. A multi-office US and international network if you want to stretch later. And a seat in Dallas HQ on a studio that is only getting bigger as AI and digital infrastructure reshape what gets built.
This is a full-time, on-site role. Monday to Friday in the office. Standard hours. The work is demanding. The people are the reason it sticks.
Competitive. Texas data-centre PA market typically ~$100k-$145k for strong experience; senior / specialist leads higher.
