Job summary

TRIA Architecture, Inc. is seeking a Project Architect to join our Educational and Municipal design team in the Chicagoland area. You will coordinate projects from schematic design through construction documents and coordinate with in-house and outside teams to deliver solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of commercial architectural experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, and strong Revit skills, with opportunities for growth in a mid-size firm.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of commercial architectural experience.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Ability to coordinate project development with in-house team and outside consultants.
• Ability to participate in design presentations to clients.
• Proficiency in Revit and construction documents detailing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from schematic design through construction documents.
• Lead specific technical design aspects and design solution evaluations.
• Participate in client presentations and design reviews.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants and contractors, and in-house teams.
• Contribute to all phases of a mid-size firm’s projects and seek growth.

Description:

If you are an Architect looking to have a greater impact on local communities, Tria is seeking a highly motivated Project Architect to join our Educational and Municipal design team.The right person must be able to work independently as well as part of a team on a variety of project types and sizes.

The Position Includes:

• -The day-to-day coordination of projects through all aspects of Architectural Design from schematic design and space planning to construction documents and construction observation.
• -Responsible for specific technical design aspects including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.
• -Participation in client presentations.
• -Coordination with Engineering consultants and contractors as well as in-house teams.
• -As a mid-size firm everyone in our office is involved in all phases of a project.
• -Potential for growth within the firm.

Requirements:

• -5-7 years of commercial Architectural experience
• -Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Architecture
• -Ability to coordinate project development with in-house team and outside consultants
• -Ability to participate in design presentations to clients
• -Proficiency in Revit
• -Experience with Construction Documents and detailing of commercial masonry buildings
• -Ability to independently design and detail a project from Schematic Design through Construction Documents
• -Experience with public bid projects a plus
• -An eagerness to grow and expand your role
