You will work with principal architects from concept through construction, delivering schematic and construction drawings for dream homes. Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit, and AutoCAD is required, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and IL license is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in residential architecture/design.
• Proficient in ArchiCAD, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Meet with team to learn project scope and create designs, drawings, and specifications with principal architect and project team.
• Assist in serving discerning clients while building strong client relationships.
• Design projects from schematics to construction drawings including floorplans, elevations, cabinetry/millwork, electrical, MEP, finishes.
• Assist in site visits to monitor progress and address project needs.
• Coordinate meetings and documentation through design and construction to installation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new products and technologies.

As an Architectural Designer you will be responsible for working with principal architects and clients on designing and building full properties from concept through construction. We have amazing clients, we need you to bring your creative architectural design talents to help create dream homes.

Responsibilities:

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity that will allow you to grow your career in delivering creative architectural design drawings coupled with client-focused service, while empowering your entrepreneurial creative spirit.

• Meet with team to learn about project scope, evaluate property nuisances, create designs, drawings, permit documents, building specifications with our principal architect and project design build team.
• Assist in serving discerning clients while establishing a strong client-centric relationship.
• Design projects in design software (ArchiCAD/Revit/AutoCAD) from schematics to construction drawings including floorplans, elevations, custom cabinetry/millwork, electrical, MEP, finish materials, incorporating landscape architecture, low voltage integration and custom furnishings and art.
• Assist in site visit to work with design partners to monitor progress, answer questions and liazon projects needs, ensuring client complete happiness leading to referrals and repeat business.
• Coordinate meetings and documentation from initial introductions, design presentations, architrectual selections, ROI, RFP's, submittal logs through design and construction to installation.
• Stay committed to continued education, awareness of industry trends, new products, and technologies.
• Represents the team in a professional, courteous manner in serving discriminating clients.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, with exposure to interior design and construction, licensed in IL is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in architecture/design working in residential projects.
• Solid computer skills in ArchiCAD, Revit, Rendering Skills, AutoCAD or similar.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and CRM software.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills with a creative mind.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork minded, proactive self-starter, positive attitude, and high integrity.
• Valid driver’s license & transportation to make onsite project visits.
