Job summary

Insight Global in Austin, TX is seeking an Architect to lead architectural assignments with limited supervision and collaborate on design solutions for diverse commercial projects.

You will produce design drawings and digital models, coordinate with MEPFP and BIM teams, and review construction documents to ensure code compliance while supporting quality, schedule, and budget goals.

Qualifications

• NCARB-accredited architecture degree with 3–12 years of commercial experience.
• Actively pursuing state registration; professional registration preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with MEPFP coordination and BIM coordination.
• Experience detailing and executing construction documents with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural assignments with general direction, with limited supervision and work independently and with others toward design solutions.

• Assist in developing design solutions on a variety of projects in size and scope
• Provide production of design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teams
• Research products and materials, review existing projects, and those under construction to inform the production of design documentation
• Contribute to the effective performance of the project team regarding quality, schedule, and budget
• Assist in the execution of construction administration responsibilities
• Assist in the review and execution of design documents that meet building code and accessibility code
