Green Key Resources seeks a Project Architect for our Atlanta‑based architecture team. The candidate will lead projects through all phases, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high‑quality design and construction documents for healthcare, higher education, and large‑venue projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, 5–12+ years of experience, licensure preferred, and proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, or BIM 360 is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Architect preferred.
  • 5–12+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with healthcare, higher education, convention centers, stadiums, or mixed‑use developments.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and code compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project development from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and administration.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, engineers, and client stakeholders for cohesive delivery.
  • Oversee construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, site visits, and field reports.
  • Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and system coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and healthcare/higher‑ed standards for large venues.
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, and quality control.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Architect to join a growing Atlanta‑based architecture team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in healthcare or higher education, with additional exposure to large public venues such as convention centers, stadiums, or mixed‑use developments. This role is designed for someone who can confidently lead projects through all phases, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high‑quality work in complex, fast‑paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project development from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and administration
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery
  • Oversee construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, site visits, and field reports
  • Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building system coordination
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, healthcare/higher‑ed standards, and large‑venue requirements
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, and quality control
  • Participate in design discussions, problem‑solving, and project planning
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
