Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Project and Financial Manager to support Navy mission systems through program management and financial stewardship. You will collaborate with assistant program managers to prepare acquisition documents, develop and manage spend plans and budgets, monitor obligations and expenditures, and support the PPBE process.

You will translate complex financial data into briefing material for leadership and ensure reporting meets quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoD clients.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoD Program Management Offices.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a spend plan.
  • Experience drafting impact statements or reclamas, and assisting with drafting budget documentation and updates.
  • Experience stratifying and rolling up financial data on behalf of multiple programs.
  • Experience with the Planning, Programing, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Knowledge of DoD Adaptive Acquisition framework or DoD Instruction DoD 5000.02.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts on electronic warfare, information warfare, and signals intelligence.
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree

  • Develop and manage program cost, schedule, and performance reporting.

Project and Financial Manager The Opportunity:

As a project management specialist with strong financial management skills and experience, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need an experienced project management specialist like you who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Navy’s mission systems. You’ll work with assistant program managers to prepare acquisition documents while supporting the development and management of spend plans and spend plan change requests, monitoring obligation and expenditure benchmarks, supporting annual budget development, and performing other aspects of cost, schedule, and performance. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Office and Power BI tools, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, or project analysts. This project will benefit from your experience as a program manager to deliver briefing material and other reporting with your eye for high quality and impactful content. The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoD clients
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Navy or DoD Program Management Offices
  • 5+ years of experience managing a spend plan

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
