Job summary

The University of Nebraska at Omaha seeks a Project and Design Manager for the Goldstein Center for Human Rights and Fried Academy. You will lead project design, manage communications across email, phone, video, website and social media, and supervise student workers.

Budgeting, fundraising and grants are key duties. A Master’s degree and at least three years of higher education experience are required; the role is full-time, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a $52,000 annual salary and no remote work.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of the Goldstein Center for Human Rights and Director of the Fried Academy, the Project and Design Manager will implement projects, exhibitions, symposiums and other tasks as assigned for the Goldstein Center for Human Rights, Fried Academy, and Goldstein Family Community Chair in Human Rights. This position will be responsible for project design and management. The position will manage communication in multiple media, including email, phone, video, website and social media management. This position will also conduct fundraising and grant writing as well as managing budget documents, record-keeping, and interacting with University financial and record-keeping systems. The Project and Design Manager will supervise student workers.
