Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an Experienced Project Analyst to drive high-impact facilities and information projects at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 9+ years relevant experience OR Master's degree and 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize project schedules.
  • Track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support risk analysis and mitigation planning.
  • Facilitate clear communication across technical and program teams.
  • Contribute to long-range facility planning and project scoping.
  • Assist with resources evaluation and budget planning/execution.
  • Collaborate with Site Program Office on strategic initiatives.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is looking for an Experienced Project Analyst to help drive high impact facilities and information projects at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston. As a Project Analyst, you'll become a key player in planning and executing projects that keep our training infrastructure strong and ready. You'll develop schedules, analyze performance, provide insightful reporting, and strengthen communication across a diverse team of engineers, project managers, and stakeholders. Your work will shape long term facility planning, informed decision making, and successful budget execution for the NPTU Charleston site.

What You'll Do
  • Build, maintain, and optimize project schedules

This position is not fully remote and requires regular onsite presence at NPTU Charleston. Limited telework opportunities are available, consistent with program needs.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$95,700.00 - $149,600.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

All candidates must be U.S. citizens. Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. FMP is a government contractor and maintains a drug free workplace and workforce. All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707. Marijuana is a Federal Schedule I controlled substance and illegal under Federal Law. Therefore, FMP is required to test for marijuana.
