Job summary

FWG Solutions, a trusted DoD services provider, seeks a Project Analyst to track labor hours, costs, and schedules on the LCAC 100 program. You will monitor burn rates, prepare budgets, and generate management reports while coordinating with program managers and clients.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years’ experience, DoD financial systems knowledge, and strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. This onsite role offers growth and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, analytics, logistics or related field is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar project analyst role or related field.
• Experience using DoD/Navy financial systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tracking of labor hours, schedules, costs and burn rates.
• Review costs and modify budgets accordingly.
• Prepare status reports and monitor project progress.
• Develop budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements.
• Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure objectives are met.
• Support labor tracking and labor hour alignment.
• Provide weekly budget analyses and resource allocations.
• Assist Navy program manager with tracking government labor funding plans.

Position Overview

The Project Analyst will be in charge of tracking labor hours, costs, schedules, burn rates, planning actions and management reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the tracking of labor hours and schedules, as well as costs and burn rates
• Reviewing costs and modifying accordingly
• Manage schedules and preparing status reports
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client‑satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
• Responsible for: developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program; participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met
• Supports labor tracking and labor hour alignment
• Review and provide weekly budget analysis reports and resource allocation
• Support the Navy Program Manager by tracking government labor funding plans
• Provide task planning activities
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team
• Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• High School Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Required (preferably in business, finance, accounting, analytics, logistics or related field)

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance
• MS Project or Primavera, preferred

Experience

• Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a similar position
• Experience using DoD/Navy financial systems
• Knowledge of the substantive programs within the division and branches

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required
• Knowledge of correspondence and writing procedures and practices
