Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks a Project Accountant to join its growing team in California. The role emphasizes job costing and PoC accounting within an ERP environment, in a fast-paced, growth-focused culture.

You will review project setup, manage estimates, track WIP, and support month-end closes. Strong Excel and ERP skills, plus clear communication and meticulous attention to detail, are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of job costing or PoC accounting experience.
• ERP systems experience and time tracking experience.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review booking documents and set up new projects in the ERP.
• Process estimate changes for active projects in ERP.
• Close out projects in ERP upon completion.
• Prepare and review WIP analyses after payroll cycles.
• Review monthly charges to active projects and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter time charged to jobs from weekly timesheets.
• Assist in month-end close and other projects as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and protocols.
