We are seeking a talented Project Accountant to join our team! This position is 100% remote. As a Project Accountant, you will manage financial aspects of projects, collaborate with teams, and support our financial stability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project systems, including setup, maintenance, invoicing, and closure
• Partner with Project Managers to finalize and submit client invoices monthly
• Collaborate on project financials with Project Managers
• Monitor Work In Progress (WIP) and aging Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Evaluate and process project setup and amendments, ensuring internal control compliance
• Organize and prioritize workload independently to meet deadlines
• Provide excellent client service and respond to inquiries
• Support audits and respond to inquiries from management
• Assist in collections of AR and resolve payment issues
• Help troubleshoot the company accounting system
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2-year degree in Accounting or Business preferred
• 3-5 years of project billing and accounting experience in consulting
• Knowledge of labor-based ERP systems, preferably VantagePoint
• Experience working remotely
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
