The Walsh Group, Ltd. in Westfield, MA is seeking a Project Accountant to manage day-to-day project accounting across 5–15 projects.

You will review subcontracts, bonds, lien waivers, and monthly invoices; ensure proper accruals to cost reports and phase codes; and support project managers with cost reporting and owner billings. This role offers growth in a family-owned company with a large backing and technology focus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field.

Mansioni

• Reviews and processes subcontracts, bonds to ensure compliance with terms.
• Collects and reviews lien waivers from subcontractors/suppliers.
• Reviews and processes monthly project invoices; ensures proper accrual to cost reports and phase codes.
• Ensures timely payments to subcontractors and major suppliers.
• Understands the Walsh monthly P&L process; reviews P&Ls for accuracy.
• Processes cost transfers on project cost reports for Project Management staff.
• Provides monthly assistance to Project Management staff in the preparation of monthly billings to project owners.
• Collects, reviews and submits monthly owner billings to the Accounting Manager for processing.
• Communicates with project staff on tracking when projects are paid.
• Handles client and subcontractor communications professionally and expediently.
