Job summary

Tech Electronics, a Missouri-based technology services company, is seeking a Project Accountant to support financial management across multiple projects. The role focuses on accurate project records, cost monitoring, and timely billing to align with company goals.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, Sales, and Accounting to ensure projects stay financially controlled, billed properly, and reported with clarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2+ years in project accounting, construction accounting, or related industry.
• Experience with accounts receivable, project billing, reconciliations, and job cost tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and financial data accuracy.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for projects from setup to closeout.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, revenue, and profitability for financial accuracy.
• Prepare and review invoices; manage progress and milestone billing.
• Track accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies with customers.
• Assist with WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close.
• Support forecasting and audits with accurate cost data.
