Job summary

The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is seeking a Project Accountant in Canton, MI to support project accounting for architecture/engineering services. You will manage invoicing, contract files, and budget prep in collaboration with Project Managers and Principals.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, an Accounting or Finance degree, and strong Excel/Word skills. Prior experience in Deltek is a plus, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• 3+ years accounting experience, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Construction or professional service firms experience will be considered.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain contract information and client/subcontractor files; assist PMs with budgets.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Track monthly invoices, change orders, and additional service requests.
• Assist in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Collaborate with clients and subcontractors' accounting teams.
