A Project Accountant role is available, requiring self-motivation, pro-activity, good organizational skills, and prior experience in an Architecture/Engineering firm. Join a 650+ professional team delivering integrated planning, design, engineering and construction

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• 3+ years accounting experience, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Construction or professional service firms experience will be considered.
• Proficiency with accounting software packages, Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint, Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and be deadline driven.
• Detail-oriented problem solver.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintenance of contract information, including accurate files of client and subcontractors agreements. Work closely with Project Managers & Principals in preparation of project budgets and other pertinent contract information.
• Responsible for setup and maintenance of projects in Deltek Vantagepoint accounting software.
• Work closely with Project Managers tracking monthly invoices, additional service requests and change orders. May require visiting other offices occasionally.
• Provide assistance to Project Managers and Corporate Leadership in account collections, receivables and payables.
• Work closely with clients and subcontractor’s accounting departments.
• Other accounting responsibilities may include accounts payable & unit entry.
