Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC invites applications for a Project Accountant to collaborate with project managers from proposal through completion, ensuring accurate billing, reporting, and cost tracking. The role supports AR, cash application, and closeout activities in a hybrid environment.

The position requires an Associate degree in Accounting with 3-7 years in project accounting, plus experience in billing, AR, and revenue recognition. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project managers on financial management from proposal through project completion.
• Set up and maintain project accounts to support accurate billing and financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and submit client invoices.
• Perform project reviews, cost tracking, WIP analysis, and variance reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and cash application discrepancies.
• Support project closeout activities and purchase order administration.
